Frequently Asked Questions

Q1   Where do you operate?

All across England, Scotland and Wales.  We currently have just over 350 staff throughout the country.  This has built up over our 28 years in business.

Q2   Do you sub-contract your work?

No, we like to keep a close control over our day to day work.  We use locally employed staff called Local Service Operators, providing them with all the equipment, uniform and training in order to carry out their work.  However, occasionally we may have to sub-contract specialist work such as steam cleaning and arboriculture.

Q3   Who supervises the work?

We have District Service Managers who are responsible for looking after our Local Service Operators in terms of quality auditing, training, recruitment, site inspections and work programming. They cover a specific geographic region of the country.

Q4   If you have locally employed Service Operators, how do you attend to the
        gullies, estate lighting etc?

We have two fully functioning gully tankers as well as mechanical sweepers, large mowing equipment and elevated platforms for light maintenance work.  Our Specialist Support Operators use this equipment visiting each district across the country on a rota.

Q5   How will we be kept informed as to what is happening on site?

Our Local Service Operators are provided with a telephone card and they call in to our Head Office reporting any problem or occurrence that they may find on site.  A Site Report is immediately drawn up and emailed or faxed straight through to you. This service is free.

Q6   Who is my point of contact?

We have a Customer Service Department headed by Debbie Wall (see Your Point of Contact). You will have a designated Client Account Manager for all of your sites. They concentrate solely on our clients and are available for site meetings, provide quotations and respond to queries.  Should they not be in the office, their PA is usually able to help or can get a message to them.
