MITIE Lyndhurst Services provides an Estate Maintenance Service across the country from Inverness to Penzance and Pembroke to Great Yarmouth.

Local Service Operators

The maintenance work at your site will be carried out by uniformed staff who:

Are directly employed by MITIE Lyndhurst Services

Each hold Certificates of  Competence for spraying herbicides to meet legal requirements

Have received extensive skills training, of which Health & Safety is an important part, by our National Training Manager

If not site based, will have a vehicle in our distinctive, orange coloured Lyndhurst livery

Are equipped with all the necessary tools, machinery and personal protective clothing

Generally, live within  25 miles of your property

District Service Areas

Our service operation is divided into geographic districts.  Each area is headed by a District Service Manager who carries out Site Quality Inspections (see Training). They are also responsible for the day-to-day operations of service staff concentrating on staff management, organising sickness and holiday cover and programming of work schedules. They are assisted by Support Operators, which means that the Service department concentrates entirely on service matters while the Customer Account Managers give our clients their undivided attention.

We believe the structure of the MITIE Lyndhurst Service Network uniquely allows us to offer you all the benefits of a genuinely Local Service which is supported and coordinated Nationwide.  

Training and Quality Assessments

All Local Service Operators undergo a 4 stage training programme covering all aspects of their work from Health and Safety to certification for chemical spraying. In addition all Operators have at least one whole training day a year.
Our Site Quality Inspection Reports sometimes result in further training for the Local Service Operators.  The marks achieved on the Inspection Reports are kept on their training log.  Our Local Service Operators are trained and skilled to carry out both landscaping and cleaning.
